La noche que nevó en La Aurora
Hace más de 20 años que no nevaba en La Aurora. Casi todos los inviernos vemos un poco de nieve en la cumbre del macizo Bustamante, pero abajo nunca. Tuvimos unos días de mucho frío que terminaron con este manto blanco cubriéndolo todo. El verde de nuestros bosques relucía aún más, y el azul del cielo en los días posteriores también ayudó. Asomaron las huellas de zorros, de algún felino que lo seguía, y pudimos distinguir a lo lejos la majestuosa cumbre del cerro El Mauco, al poniente. Nada más que decir.
The night when it snowed in La Aurora
It was more than 20 years that it did not snow in La Aurora, almost all winters show some snow at the massif Bustamante summit, but never beneath. We had a few very cold days which ended in this white blanket covering everything. Forest green shone even more with the help of blue skies in the following days. Tracks of foxes appeared and of some feline following them, and we could distinguish at the distance the majestic summit of El Mauco to the west. Enough to say!
